I had a drama with it being 3 months to get a DOA mobile phone replaced. I was getting nowhere with emails and phone calls. Then I tweeted Virgin Mobile Australia about it (they weren’t on Twitter at the beginning) and *poof* all fixed.

Happy that Twitter worked, but still miffed about the 3 months of run around, because that is seriously poor service.

But if it was potatoes fermenting in my drain, wouldn’t I be making vodka? Which (and it’s a quality I’ve counted on in the past) has no smell?

I am happy with the result. And a little stunned, because bad customer service seems to be the norm with a lot of companies these days. Pleasantly surprised.
